Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kon Wos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charlie Wall has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kon Wos!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wos darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Wos is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wall keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Wall controlling the position well.
Wos prevents Wall from improving his position.
Wall is controlling Wos's trapped leg to prevent Wos from advancing to side control.
Wos throwing shots but Wall is blocking nicely.
Wos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wall is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wall sees it coming and defends easily.

Wos has hold of Wall's hands but Wall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Wall stands up from half guard.

Wall manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wos on his heels. He'll look to pass Wos's guard now, I'm sure.

Wall postures up and lands a big shot to Wos's brow.
Wos has his hands on Wall's head, controlling the position.
Wall cracks Wos with a solid left hand.
Wall postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Wall stands up over Wos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Wall stays in close to Wos's body and controls the position.
Wall is working Wos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Wall with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Wall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wall gets to his feet - Wos follows without any prompting.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Wall is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wos's half guard.
Wall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wos is in Wall's guard.
Wos is breathing heavily.
Wall looking for a sweep. Not yet Wall, not yet.
Wall pulls Wos in close to prevent any damage.
Wall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wos can do to turn this around?
Wall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wos is one step ahead there.
Wall seems keen to control Wos's posture.

Wos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wos has managed to get both his arms back between Wall's legs - danger averted.

Wall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wall holds on and takes a little breather.

Wall manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Wos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wall sprawls well initially but Wos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wall has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wos doesn't defend quickly enough and Wall has managed to lock this one up! Can Wos escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wall on a fantastic submission victory.
