Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fitzwilliam Darcy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gracie Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darcy misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Machado counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Machado slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Darcy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Machado passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machado remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Darcy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Machado's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Machado has an Americana. Darcy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Machado is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Machado hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
