Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jospeh Pittman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matthew Gates!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pittman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pittman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gates quickly recovers to half guard.
Pittman gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A head kick by Gates misses
and Pittman counters with a stiff right hand.
Gates misses with a double jab.
Pittman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pittman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gates swivels and escapes.
Pittman misses with a body shot
and Pittman is countered with a crisp right hand from Gates that sends him to the canvas! Gates follows him to the mat into side control.
Pittman is rocked!
It looks like Jospeh Pittman has been cut.
Pittman is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gates stands up and beckons Pittman to his feet.
Oh Pittman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gates dances in with a quick combination. Pittman is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Gates snaps Pittman's head back. Pittman stumbles backwards against the cage. Gates steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Pittman's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Pittman just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Matthew Gates!
During a confident post fight interview, Matthew Gates thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
