The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews tries to land a leg kick but Nucleus saw it coming and moves away.
Nucleus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matthews tries to avoid it but Nucleus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matthews to the ground. Matthews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matthews looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nucleus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Matthews lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nucleus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matthews circles away quickly and effectively.
