Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Cassius Scaeva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danilo Leblanc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Cassius Scaeva!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaeva tries to clinch but Leblanc moves out of range.
Leblanc tries a head kick but it misses.
Scaeva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leblanc moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Leblanc looks to land a combination but Scaeva avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes from Scaeva. Those never looked like landing.
Scaeva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Scaeva lands with a hook. Leblanc tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Scaeva tries to clinch but Leblanc is having none of it.
Marcus Cassius Scaeva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leblanc misses with a double jab.
Leblanc shoots for a double leg takedown but Scaeva sprawls well. He's pushed Leblanc's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A combination from Scaeva does no damage.

Leblanc takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Scaeva throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Scaeva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leblanc manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Leblanc pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Leblanc fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Scaeva to the ground. Leblanc is now in Scaeva's guard.
Scaeva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leblanc is one step ahead there.
Leblanc stays in close to Scaeva's body and controls the position.
Leblanc has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Scaeva wants to stand and escape but Leblanc is having none of it.
Leblanc missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Leblanc is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Scaeva looks winded!
Leblanc lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scaeva circles away quickly and effectively.
Scaeva wants to counter with a clinch but Leblanc pushes him away.
Scaeva throws a nice looking combination but Leblanc bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Leblanc fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Scaeva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Leblanc slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Leblanc's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Scaeva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leblanc.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Leblanc's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Leblanc dives in and scores a takedown into Scaeva's guard.

A close round but Marcus Cassius Scaeva will probably get the nod.

Leblanc shoots in for a takedown but Scaeva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Leblanc counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Danilo Leblanc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Leblanc decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Scaeva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leblanc moves away.
Leblanc misses with an uppercut. Scaeva saw that one coming.

Leblanc swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Scaeva misses.
Scaeva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leblanc swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Leblanc shoots in and drives through. Scaeva sprawls well.
Scaeva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leblanc.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danilo Leblanc. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leblanc darts in looking for a takedown but Scaeva gets double underhooks and turns Leblanc into the cage.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Leblanc.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scaeva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Scaeva looks to land a combination. Leblanc sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looked like Leblanc was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Leblanc tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scaeva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leblanc somewhat.

Marcus Cassius Scaeva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Scaeva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
