The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyaguchi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Adams but Adams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Miyaguchi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Adams lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Miyaguchi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Horrible takedown by Miyaguchi or perhaps it was just good defense by Adams which made him look bad.
Adams ducks under a wild hook from Miyaguchi.
Miyaguchi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Michael Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryo Miyaguchi.

Adams wants to stand and escape but Miyaguchi is having none of it.

Miyaguchi is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Adams looks calm but he's in trouble here. Miyaguchi gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Adams is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Miyaguchi lets go of the hold and Adams can pop his arm back in it's socket.
