Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harald Blaatand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaatand's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Raining Blood. Harald Blaatand has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Blaatand scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like David Abbott has been cut.

Abbott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Abbott is looking to stand up but Blaatand isn't so interested in that idea.
Blaatand postures up and lands a big shot to Abbott's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blaatand with a nice head shot there.
Blaatand stands up over Abbott, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blaatand prevents Abbott from getting back to his feet.
Blaatand will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blaatand lands a couple of digs.
Blaatand forces his way into half guard.
Blaatand drops an elbow to the side of Abbott's head.
Abbott pushes Blaatand off looking to stand but Blaatand dives back in and keeps control.
Blaatand is looking to advance position but Abbott won't allow it.

Blaatand perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Blaatand is nestled in close to Abbott, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Abbott kicks Blaatand off and gets back to his feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blaatand.
Abbott misses with a series of wild punches.

Blaatand shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Abbott is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Blaatand pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Blaatand has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Abbott looks gassed!
Abbott wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Blaatand landing strikes from the mount and Abbott is in trouble!
Abbott is in a horrible position here. Blaatand smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That has opened up David Abbott's cut even more.

Blaatand has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Abbott's face.

David Abbott's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Abbott's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
