PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hussein Stahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leone's entrance music is "Diesel Blues" by Jim Johnston. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl slaps away a takedown attempt from Leone, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Stahl throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leone was covering up waiting for the punch and Stahl finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Leone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stahl is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stahl is looking to work some ground and pound but Leone has wrist control.

Stahl has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

In his post fight interview, Hussein Stahl started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
