Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tank S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tank S has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tank S!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Dawkins!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S moves in looking to clinch but Dawkins pushes him off.
S walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dawkins checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dawkins looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dawkins looks for a takedown but S sprawls well.

S drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
S preventing the sweep.

Dawkins keeping moving, preventing S from controlling successfully.

S controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
S wants to pass the guard but Dawkins is keeping the position.
S trying to control the position from guard on top but Dawkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dawkins wants to get back to his feet but S is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and S counters by moving into the clinch.
Tank S has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dawkins.

S stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dawkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

S trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dawkins's guard.
S won't allow Dawkins to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dawkins scores a takedown into full mount!
S is looking to improve his position but Dawkins isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dawkins controlling the pace for now.
Dawkins trying to control but S is having none of it.

S tries to reverse the position but Dawkins maintains control.
Dawkins landing punches.

S could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dawkins working for a submission but S is keeping him at bay.
Dawkins is landing with some decent strikes but S is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Dawkins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as S is looking to escape.
S wants to control but Dawkins is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dawkins tries to control but S wriggling away.
S is looking to improve his position but Dawkins isn't that keen on the idea.
Dawkins raining down shots from the mount!
Dawkins cracks S with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
S wants to hold on but Dawkins pushes him away.
S is looking to improve his position but Dawkins isn't that keen on the idea.

Dawkins is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, S has managed to escape the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Dawkins dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



S has Dawkins up against the cage in a clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Dawkins.
S changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dawkins fights it off and pushes away nicely.

S feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dawkins pushes S off and scrambles back to his feet.
S fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dawkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dawkins showed some decent athleticism there.
S is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dawkins is looking to take a break and control but S is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
S tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dawkins has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Dawkins raining down shots from the mount!
Dawkins looking to control but S is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dawkins prevents S from getting the reversal.
Dawkins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
S keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
S tries to hold on but Dawkins postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
S is working to get back to half guard.
S sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
S works his way to full guard. Good work.

Dawkins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dawkins postures up.
S keeping moving, preventing Dawkins from controlling successfully.
S looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

S looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

S controls Dawkins momentarily but Dawkins frees himself.
S wants to sweep here but Dawkins controlling him for the moment.
S wants to stand and escape but Dawkins is having none of it.
S might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dawkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but S has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dawkins is looking to defend but S has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dawkins! S pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dawkins taps out and this one is all over!
