The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Soszynski is out of range.
Soszynski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Soszynski digs a good hook to Jackson's body.
Soszynski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jackson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Krystian Soszynski has been cut.
Soszynski connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Soszynski throws a body punch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Soszynski lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Soszynski.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Soszynski just misses with a punch to the body.
Soszynski takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Soszynski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Krystian Soszynski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Soszynski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

A decent looking cross lands there for Soszynski.

Jackson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Soszynski lands a head shot.
Soszynski misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
Soszynski cracks Jackson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jackson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Soszynski pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jackson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krystian Soszynski!
A relieved looking Krystian Soszynski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
