Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Luna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshie Evett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Luna swivels and escapes.
Evett tries to close the distance and clinch but Luna swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Luna shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Evett manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Luna keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Evett's head.

Luna has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Evett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Luna can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Luna lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Luna lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Evett quite badly. Evett pulls Luna in close trying to recover. Luna postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Evett on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Evett doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
