The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valencia takes the fight into the clinch.

Pinheed breaks the clinch.

Pinheed moves into the clinch successfully.

Pinheed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pinheed clinches up with Valencia and pushes him back against the cage.
Valencia lands a nice elbow.

Pinheed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Valencia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pinheed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pinheed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Valencia backwards.
Pinheed prevents the takedown attempt.

Valencia breaks the clinch.

Pinheed lands a big right hand that sends Valencia crashing to the mat! Pinheed stays standing though and waves Valencia back to his feet!

Valencia is rocked!

It looks like Wade Valencia has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pinheed dances in with a quick combination. Valencia is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pinheed snaps Valencia's head back. Valencia stumbles backwards against the cage. Pinheed steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Valencia's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Valencia just didn't come prepared.
