PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bread Panterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brochan Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panterson comes to the ring accompanied by New Beginnings. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darrow shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Panterson's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Panterson working for submissions but it's allowed Darrow to get to half guard.
Darrow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Darrow missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Darrow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Darrow uses his free foot to push down on Panterson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Panterson.
Panterson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Panterson tries to get out of the position.
Darrow lands a heavy elbow.
Panterson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Darrow's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Panterson is in a horrible position here. Darrow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Darrow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Panterson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Brochan Darrow dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Darrow walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Panterson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Darrow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Panterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Darrow's waist but Darrow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Panterson off to one side.

Darrow throws a big counter head kick but Panterson avoids it with no problem.
Darrow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Panterson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sloppy strikes from Darrow. Those never looked like landing.
Panterson shoots in for a double leg but Darrow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Darrow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Panterson but Panterson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darrow is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Panterson like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Panterson from another fist facial!

In defeat, Bread Panterson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sometimes, we win, and sometimes we lost, but in the end we, all both persevere in life!so in this defeat, i will not hinder, and i'll be back much stronger than before'.
