Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmie Akesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Nasimentu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akesson comes to the cage accompanied by The Swedish National Anthem. Nasimentu has chosen ТIК - Бiлi Троянk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Akesson does it's job there.
Akesson moves out of range as Nasimentu strikes.
A little feinted left hand from Akesson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Akesson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Akesson throws a hook to the side of Nasimentu's head but Nasimentu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Akesson connects with a single shot there.
Nasimentu misses with a straight right.
Akesson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nasimentu tries to clinch up.
A little feinted left hand from Akesson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Akesson swats away the attempt to clinch by Nasimentu.
Akesson lands with a kick to the temple. Nasimentu shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Valentin Nasimentu has been cut.
Akesson looks to score with a jab to the body but Nasimentu is just out of range.
Nasimentu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nasimentu misses with a series of wild punches.
Akesson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nasimentu on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Akesson misses with a head shot. Nasimentu uses the momentum to regain guard.

Nasimentu seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nasimentu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Akesson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nasimentu has tightened it up now! Akesson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Valentin Nasimentu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Jimmie Akesson spoke after the fight, saying 'Fuck it! I will go on the bender.....'.
