The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silhimidzic misses with a series of wild punches.
Cahill misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silhimidzic appears to be looking for a big counter.

Silhimidzic closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silhimidzic throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Cahill is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Silhimidzic is controlling him well.

Cahill is trying to control Silhimidzic's posture but Silhimidzic avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cahill is not content to let Silhimidzic control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cahill is holding Silhimidzic down, trying to stall.
Silhimidzic throws a strike aimed at the side of Cahill's head but Cahill avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cahill gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Cahill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cahill manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Silhimidzic is breathing heavily.

Cahill pushes a forearm under Silhimidzic's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Silhimidzic is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
