The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Waller.
Turkmeni tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Waller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Turkmeni is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Waller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Waller's back!

Turkmeni is trying to stick to Waller's back but Waller is turning into Turkmeni. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Turkmeni's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Waller.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turkmeni working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Waller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Waller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Waller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Turkmeni has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Waller is looking to defend but Turkmeni has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Waller! Turkmeni pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Waller taps out and this one is all over!
