The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meida closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away.
Johnson throws a combination that misses

so Meida counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Meida isn't so interested in that idea.
Meida trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.

Meida is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but Meida is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
