Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vanilla Godzilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Frank White- Vado as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vanilla Godzilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank White!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White rushes Godzilla and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
White tries to break free but Godzilla pushes him back against the cage.

Godzilla escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Godzilla gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Godzilla looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
White is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Godzilla looking to control.

Godzilla has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Godzilla is trying to hold White in close to prevent damage but White has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Godzilla really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Godzilla is trying to get back to full guard.
White throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
White controlling the action here.
Godzilla wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
White is taking a breather. Godzilla says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

White escapes and gets back to his feet.
Some wild striking there from White.
Godzilla blocks the body kick.
Frank White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White throws a wild body kick that Godzilla sees coming a mile off.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Godzilla enables White to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Godzilla manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
White pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Godzilla gets caught napping as White dives in and scores a takedown. Godzilla manages to retain guard.
Godzilla is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Godzilla working a defensive guard but White manages to pass into side control anyway.
Godzilla is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

White decides to stand back up. White steps back and let's Godzilla get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Godzilla's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Godzilla shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

White drives through and clinches with Godzilla against the cage.
Godzilla keeps the fight in the clinch, despite White's efforts to push away.
White is looking to break free of the clinch but Godzilla has double underhooks.

White has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Godzilla regains guard immediately.
Godzilla throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Godzilla works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Godzilla can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as White controls the pace.

White working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
White postures up in Godzilla's guard and throws a big left but Godzilla blocks it.
White engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
White throws a looping overhand right but Godzilla ducks down to avoid it.
Godzilla went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Godzilla dodges the punch combination from White.
Godzilla is looking for a counter combo.
White throws a one two combo.

Godzilla is rocked!
Godzilla slips a jab and a cross from White.

White closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Godzilla explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White with a hook.
Oh Godzilla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

White moves into the clinch successfully.
Godzilla lands a knee to the head.
White lands with a right to the head.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Godzilla is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. White is defending well for now.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Godzilla seems to have got his legs back now.
White using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Godzilla has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

White breaks from the clinch.
White looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Godzilla tries to counter by moving into the clinch but White manages to circle out of the way.
White is breathing heavily.

White clinches up with Godzilla and pushes him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Godzilla lands an elbow that stopped White in his tracks for a moment.
White avoiding damage as Godzilla throws knees to the body.
White is trying to push Godzilla away but Godzilla has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Godzilla is trying to maintain a safe position but White gets an underhook and turns Godzilla into the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A head punch on the inside from Godzilla fails to land.
White can't break the clinch.

White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

White moves into the clinch successfully.
White scores with a shot to the side of Godzilla's head.
Godzilla fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Godzilla with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Godzilla throws an elbow that misses.
Godzilla tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. White smiles and moves away.
Godzilla darts in trying to clinch
and White connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

White drives through and clinches with Godzilla against the cage.
White tries to break free but Godzilla pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on White's face as he tries to break the clinch.
White wants to stall.
White is pressed up against the cage. Godzilla has hold of a leg and is looking to drag White down to the mat. White avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vanilla Godzilla. That's going to take a lot out of him.

White has closed the distance and engaged Godzilla in a clinch.

White pulls guard successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Godzilla wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.
White wants to stand and escape but Godzilla is having none of it.

White has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Godzilla off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Godzilla has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It appears Godzilla was looking to counter with a kick there.
Frank White seems to be getting the better of the standup.

White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.
Godzilla is looking to stand back up but White counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Godzilla.
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The adventures of White the control monster continue. Boring.
Godzilla tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
White stalling.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Godzilla preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
White perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Godzilla is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
White seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
White content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Godzilla tries to land knees in the clinch but White avoids the damage to the body.
Frank White seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
A frustrated look appears on White's face as he tries to break the clinch.
White has had enough of the clinch but Godzilla keeps him there for the moment.
Godzilla tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. White just stands there and leans against the cage.

White has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Godzilla regains guard immediately.

Godzilla trying to keep a closed guard but White is proving a slippery customer.
Godzilla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
