Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Levalloi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Levalloi!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levalloi misses with an attempted mid kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Levalloi.
No luck for Levalloi with that takedown attempt.

Brown clinches with his opponent.
Brown just leaning against Levalloi, taking a breather.

Levalloi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Levalloi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Levalloi's guard.

Levalloi working for submissions but it's allowed Brown to get to half guard.
Brown with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Brown wants to pass the guard but Levalloi is defending well.
Brown keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Brown works his way into side control.

Brown decides to stand back up.
Levalloi fails with a takedown attempt.
Chris Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Levalloi.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brown gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Brown ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.

Brown wants to stand but Levalloi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown is looking to stand up but Levalloi won't let him.
Brown is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Levalloi for as long as he can get away with.
Brown passes into half guard.

Brown is looking for a kimura here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Brown slips a nice elbow through Levalloi's hands, connecting with Levalloi's forehead.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Brown is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Brown seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Levalloi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brown postures up.
Brown stands up over Levalloi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Brown engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Levalloi is trying to hold Brown in close to prevent damage but Brown has managed to pass into half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Brown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Levalloi!

Brown wants to stand but Levalloi is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Chris Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Levalloi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown lands with some strikes.
Brown landing shots from mount.
A big strike lands for Brown! That's really hurt Levalloi and he's turned his back - Brown keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Brown jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Brown!
