The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunkin swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Doolittle finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Doolittle moves out of range as Dunkin strikes.
A little jabbing left from Doolittle on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Doolittle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alvin Ray Dunkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dunkin. Doolittle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Doolittle digs a good body shot into Dunkin's ribs.

Doolittle looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Doolittle throws a hook to the side of Dunkin's head but Dunkin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dunkin throws a series of punches but Doolittle avoids them all with ease.

Dunkin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doolittle on the side of the head.

It looks like Doctor Doolittle has been cut.

Doolittle throws a fast counter high kick but Dunkin manages to duck under it in time.
Dunkin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dunkin throws an overhand right that lands on Doolittle's shoulder, as Doolittle tries to avoid the shot.
Dunkin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doolittle can pounce on him.

and Doolittle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dunkin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doolittle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dunkin tries a low kick but Doolittle avoids it.
Dunkin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dunkin throws a body shot but no joy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dunkin. That's going to slow Doolittle down.

and Doolittle counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dunkin thinking.
Dunkin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Doolittle. That one must have hurt.
Doolittle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dunkin misses with a two punch combination.

Dunkin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Doolittle stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dunkin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dunkin lands with a good body shot.
Whack! Doolittle lands a heavy head kick that drops Dunkin. The ref tackles Doolittle to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Dunkin was done.

Doctor Doolittle decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Alvin Ray Dunkin spoke after the fight, saying 'I came into the fight with a good game plan and it didn't work so I will go back to the drawing board.'.
