Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timo Skottilaine!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skottilaine throws a right and a left that Suarez avoids nicely.
A quick step to the side and Suarez tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skottilaine moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Suarez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Suarez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Skottilaine lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.


It looks like Tyson Suarez has been cut.
Suarez throws a good cross that connects.
Skottilaine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Suarez, as that shot connected.

Skottilaine darts in and clinches Suarez up against the cage.

Tyson Suarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Skottilaine.

Skottilaine walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Skottilaine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Suarez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Skottilaine. Those never looked like landing.
Suarez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Skottilaine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horrible takedown attempt by Skottilaine or perhaps it was just good defense by Suarez, which made it look bad.

Suarez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Skottilaine misses with a punch to the body.

Suarez breaks the clinch.
Tyson Suarez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skottilaine delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Skottilaine shoots for a takedown but Suarez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Skottilaine looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Skottilaine gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Suarez.
Skottilaine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Suarez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Skottilaine goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Skottilaine moves to clinch but Suarez breaks away
and Suarez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Skottilaine throws a head kick but Suarez moves out of range.
Suarez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Skottilaine.
Suarez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Skottilaine shoots and misses
and Suarez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Skottilaine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Skottilaine tries to pull guard but Suarez holds him up against the cage and eventually Skottilaine drops back down to his feet.
Skottilaine misses with some punches.

Skottilaine pulls guard successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Skottilaine is working an open guard so Suarez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Suarez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Suarez cracks Skottilaine on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Skottilaine falls backwards against the cage. Suarez follows up with more strikes that drop Skottilaine to his knees. Suarez keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Skottilaine! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Suarez!
