The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Harvey to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harvey stands up from Edwards's guard - Harvey perhaps looking for a knockout.
Harvey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harvey drives through and clinches with Edwards against the cage.
Edwards is trying to maintain a safe position but Harvey gets an underhook and turns Edwards into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edwards lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Harvey or not.
Edwards tries a knee to the head but Harvey blocks it.
Harvey has Edwards pushed against the cage.
Harvey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Harvey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Harvey pushes Edwards off and scrambles back to his feet.
Edwards scores with a punch to the head.

Edwards lands a body shot in the clinch.
Harvey tries to pull guard but Edwards won't allow it.
Edwards is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Edwards tries to land knees in the clinch but Harvey avoids the damage to the body.

Edwards scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Harvey is rocked!
Edwards tries to break the clinch but Harvey is controlling the position.

Harvey pulls Edwards into guard.
Edwards really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harvey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Edwards wants to stand and escape but instead Harvey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Edwards is working an open guard so Harvey takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Harvey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Edwards smiles and moves away.
Edwards throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harvey.

Edwards closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Edwards struggles to land a body shot inside as Harvey controls his hands.
Harvey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Edwards just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Harvey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Edwards pushes Harvey back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Harvey has clasped his hands together around Edwards's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Edwards wants to get back to his feet but Harvey is dominant here and he's now got Edwards's back!
