Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Scarfo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Van Buren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Buren comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blue Monday kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Robin Van Buren has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Buren with a lazy takedown attempt
and Scarfo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Van Buren misses with a takedown attempt
and Scarfo counters with a nice right hand that sends Van Buren toppling to the canvas! Van Buren scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Scarfo finish him?!
Van Buren is rocked!
It looks like Robin Van Buren has been cut.
Scarfo lands a big uppercut and Van Buren crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Van Buren looks OK. Scarfo waves Van Buren back to his feet!
Van Buren is still on wobbly legs! Can Scarfo finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scarfo finds Van Buren's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Van Buren flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Scarfo lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Van Buren will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nicky Scarfo!
