Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Shut em Down as his entrance music. Edward Woodward is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward defending well as Walker loads up on a big left hand.
Woodward uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Walker.
Woodward fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Walker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walker lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker wanted to stand there but Woodward had control of the position.
Woodward keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.

Woodward is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

and Walker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Woodward won't be happy with that.
Walker is staying tight to Woodward's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woodward keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Woodward circles away.

so Walker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Walker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Woodward wants to take a breather but Walker is having none of it.
Walker has his hands clasped together around Woodward's back. He's all about the action.
Woodward wants to pass to mount but Walker is defending the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Walker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Woodward fails with the takedown

and Walker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Woodward's guard.

Walker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Woodward tries to land a sweep but no joy.

and Woodward counters with a shoot takedown. Walker fights it but they end up in guard.

Woodward is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Walker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Woodward.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Walker forces Woodward back against the cage and clinches.
Woodward has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Woodward tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.
