Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bosworth Van Mahallusen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dustin Waller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bosworth Van Mahallusen!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Mahallusen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Waller swivels and escapes.

Waller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Van Mahallusen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Waller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Van Mahallusen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Waller has managed to get both his arms back between Van Mahallusen's legs - danger averted.
Waller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Waller is fighting to break Van Mahallusen's control of his arms but Van Mahallusen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Mahallusen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Waller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Waller drops back looking for a leg! Van Mahallusen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Van Mahallusen manages to kick Waller off! Waller jumps back into Van Mahallusen's guard.

Waller wants to control from the top but Van Mahallusen keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Waller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that Van Mahallusen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Waller shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Van Mahallusen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Waller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Waller's back!

Van Mahallusen is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Waller knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Waller for a finish.

Van Mahallusen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Waller has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bosworth Van Mahallusen dominated that round.
That's time! Waller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Van Mahallusen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Waller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Waller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Van Mahallusen avoids it really well and circles away.

Waller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Van Mahallusen was covering up waiting for the punch and Waller finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Waller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Van Mahallusen has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Waller is looking to defend but Van Mahallusen has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Waller! Van Mahallusen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Waller taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bosworth Van Mahallusen!
