The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damione Deathclaw throws out a loose jab but Jalkalukko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Damione Deathclaw seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A looping hook to the body misses from Damione Deathclaw. Jalkalukko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jalkalukko throws a big shot that misses.
Damione Deathclaw shoots in for a double leg but Jalkalukko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Damione Deathclaw misses with a wild body shot.
Jalkalukko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Damione Deathclaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jesse Jalkalukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jalkalukko tries to land a leg kick but Damione Deathclaw saw it coming and moves away.
Jalkalukko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Damione Deathclaw has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Damione Deathclaw is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Damione Deathclaw hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
