The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolson clinches up against the cage.
Nikolson blocks a body shot from Landry.
Landry is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nikolson is defending well for now.
Landry gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Landry postures up in Nikolson's guard and throws a big left but Nikolson blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nikolson has his foot on Landry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Landry works his way back into a safe position though.
