Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
As Chan looks to move away, Silva throws a big counter combo but Chan just gets out of the way.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Chan shoots in.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chan enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Chan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nice body punch from Silva - that landed with a thud.

Chan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chan throws a lazy head kick
and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Chan is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.

Silva flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Chan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Silva is pressing down on Chan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Silva is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Chan presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chan is defending well. Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
