The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a combination that misses
and Lelono counters with an outside leg kick.
Lelono lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Gunnar Nelson has been cut.
Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nelson misses with a two punch combination.
Nelson throws a one two combo.
A head kick misses from Nelson.
Lelono moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

enabling Lelono to counter with a crisp jab.
Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lelono tries to counter with a takedown but Nelson is quick to defend against it.
We've been hearing reports that Lelono has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nelson shoots for a double leg takedown but Lelono sprawls well. He's pushed Nelson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lelono tries to counter with a takedown but Nelson is quick to defend against it.

A big head kick from Lelono and Nelson is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Nelson is rocked!
Lelono has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lelono gets to his feet and stands over Nelson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Nelson felt that one! Lelono unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Nelson from any more punishment!
