Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between nic ram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Pearson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross Pearson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ram throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pearson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

ram clinches up with Pearson and pushes him back against the cage.
ram jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pearson walks away with a smile on his face. ram gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pearson moves out of range of the strikes.

ram closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

ram jumps guard and drags Pearson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

ram has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pearson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

ram has his feet on Pearson 's thighs here. He's pushed Pearson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pearson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
