The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cena looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cena moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
John Cena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cena darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Cena has closed the distance and engaged Simon in a clinch.
Cena tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Simon's elbow.
A nice left hand lands by Cena.
Simon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cena's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cena circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Simon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Cena follows Simon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
