The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler throws a head kick that misses.
Pitts really is a fat lump.
Pitts stuffs the takedown attempt from Tyler. Tyler gets slowly back to his feet.

Tyler moves into the clinch.
Tyler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tyler jumps guard but Pitts stands there with Tyler around his waist. Tyler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tyler has had enough of the clinch but Pitts keeps him there for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitts is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tyler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Tyler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pitts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pitts content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Tyler wants to hit a switch here but Pitts passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tyler there!
Pitts lands a big shot there that rocks Tyler but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
