Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Narushima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua gets tackled into the cage by Narushima. Narushima maintains the clinch.
Narushima throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rua blocks it with crossed arms.

I was talking to Narushima's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Narushima is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Rua gets his way!

Lyoto Rua showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
