Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayton shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dayton showed some decent athleticism there.
Gamble pushes Dayton off but Dayton dives into side control.
Gamble is looking for a sweep.
Dayton tries to advance position but instead Gamble slips a leg back in to half guard.
Gamble is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gamble manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Gamble throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dayton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gamble works over Dayton with some ground and pound from guard.
Gamble stands up and waves to Dayton to follow him.
Gamble tries to sprawl but Dayton drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dayton.

Dayton is breathing heavily.
Gamble misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dayton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gamble was covering up waiting for the punch and Dayton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gamble has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Dayton is on him like a limpet, forcing Gamble back against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Erick Gamble will probably get the nod.

Erick Gamble is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dayton throws a hook to the side of Gamble's head but Gamble sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gamble, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
