Mabogo's entrance music is 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run. A fine choice. Tony Abbot looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabogo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abbot.
Abbot looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Abbot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mabogo.
Mabogo lands with a straight right. Abbot didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Tony Abbot has been cut.
Mabogo is looking to clinch but Abbot is avoiding it.
Mabogo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Abbot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mabogo.
It looked like Mabogo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Abbot keeps the fight on the outside.
Abbot gets tackled into the cage by Mabogo. Mabogo maintains the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Abbot has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mabogo tries to land knees in the clinch but Abbot avoids the damage to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mabogo can't find room to land a body shot as Abbot controls the action.

Mabogo digs a right hand into Abbot's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Abbot's gas tank.

Abbot tries to throw a body punch but Mabogo avoids it by throwing Abbot back against the cage.
Abbot throws a punch but it's blocked by Mabogo.
Mabogo fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mabogo comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Mabogo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Mabogo lands a left hand.
Mabogo is pressed up against the cage. Abbot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mabogo down to the mat. Mabogo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mabogo clinches up with Abbot and pushes him back against the cage.
Mabogo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Abbot backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mabogo.
Mabogo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
A body shot lands from Mabogo.
Mabogo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Abbot backwards.
That has opened up Tony Abbot's cut even more.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mabogo jerks Abbot to the side and lands a massive knee to the head that knocks him out cold! Abbot's lifeless body is proped up only by the cage. Mabogo steps back, hand raised, as the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Kenalemodisa Mabogo!
Kenalemodisa Mabogo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
