Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thad Fitzgerald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denerson Lage!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald moves into the clinch successfully.
Fitzgerald keeps control of Lage as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fitzgerald has him pressed against the cage.
Lage blocks a body shot from Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald stalls.
Lage taking a breather.
Lage is looking to break free of the clinch but Fitzgerald has double underhooks.
Fitzgerald has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lage avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fitzgerald pulls guard effortlessly.
Lage wants to get up but he can't break Fitzgerald's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fitzgerald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lage misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fitzgerald manages to avoid it.
Fitzgerald tries to counter by clinching up but Lage breaks away and moves out of range.
Lage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lage with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Fitzgerald walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lage is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Fitzgerald like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Fitzgerald from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denerson Lage!
After winning the bout, Denerson Lage thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
