The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunter as he avoids it easily.

Hunter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
Hunter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Hunter just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Hunter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
