The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frankham sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Frankham has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Gracie is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frankham escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frankham tries to sprawl but Gracie drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Frankham wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frankham manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gracie keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Gracie has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Frankham is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gracie yanks on the arm and Frankham is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gracie .
