Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Cezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Cezo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright tries to clinch but Cezo moves out of range.
Good exchange - Wright coming out on top.
Wright ducks under a wild hook from Cezo.
Cezo looks to score with a jab to the body but Wright is just out of range.
Wright takes one to the chin there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Cezo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wright regains guard immediately.

Cezo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wright pushes off an throws an elbow but Cezo leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Wright swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cezo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

A left and a right from Wright both land. Nice combination.

Wright changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cezo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wright takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Wright will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wright's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cezo gets caught flat footed, as Wright shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Cezo is looking to stand up but Wright isn't so interested in that idea.

No joy there for Wright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wright closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cezo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Cezo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Wright pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cezo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wright can't fight it off and eventually Cezo manages to take the fight to the floor. Wright looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Brian Wright is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wright utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cezo is fighting to break Wright's control of his arms but Wright is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Cezo has gone for a leg lock! Wright slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cezo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
