Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis rushes Fields and presses him up against the cage.

Fields escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looked like Fields was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Fields throws a series of punches but Davis avoids them all with ease.
A little jabbing left from Davis on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fields has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Davis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fields can't fight it off and eventually Davis manages to take the fight to the floor. Fields looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Davis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fields sprawls well. Fields wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fields doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fields manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
