Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sangram Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Hills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Hills!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hills misses with a combination

and Singh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hills won't be happy with that.

Hills takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Singh feints and as Hills raises his hands in defense, Singh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hills has his foot on Singh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Singh works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Singh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hills sprawls well. Hills wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Singh gets slowly back to his feet.
Hills unleashes a big counter combination but Singh bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sangram Singh will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Hills counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hills.

Hills's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Hills counters with a two punch combo.

Hills closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Singh to the mat! Singh manages to get full guard.

Singh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hills is aware though and is defending well.
Hills trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Singh throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hills escapes and throws Singh's legs to the side, diving into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Singh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hills but Hills pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hills has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Singh is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Sangram Singh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hills shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Singh eats them both and turns towards Hills to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hills moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

A nice inside leg kick there by Hills. That's going to slow Singh down.
Hills closes this distance looking for a takedown but Singh circles away.
Singh attempts a counter takedown but Hills avoids it well and moves away.
Hills scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Singh walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hills.
That kick from Hills tenderised Singh's leg. Singh is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hills will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hills feints a jab promting Singh to slip. Hills then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Singh slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Hills moves into range and clinches up with Singh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Singh.

Singh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Hills showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hills tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hills scores with a one two! Singh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Singh manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Hills keeps the fight on the outside.
Hills has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Singh closes the distance and clinches up with Hills, looking for a takedown. Singh pushes Hills against the cage but Hills circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Singh backs off Hills throws a huge counter combo but Singh manages to avoid it all.
Singh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Singh takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hills fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Singh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hills.
Hills stalks Singh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Singh's face. Singh staggers backwards, shaken.
Singh tries to clinch there but Hills circles away.
Singh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hills is fending him off so far but Singh persists. Nope, Hills circles away and we're back to standing.
Hills moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Singh darts in looking for a takedown but Hills gets double underhooks and turns Singh into the cage.

As Singh backs off Hills throws a huge counter combo but Singh manages to avoid it all.
Hills displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Singh.
A left and a right from Hills both land. Nice combination.
Singh takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

And that's the end of the fight!
Trey Hills comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hills has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
