Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Clack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Charleston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Charleston!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clack throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Charleston tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Clack is in Charleston's guard.
Clack stands up over Charleston, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clack trying to control but Charleston is working from the bottom.
Clack trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Clack is looking to work some ground and pound but Charleston has wrist control.

Clack thows a huge punch but Charleston dodges it nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Charleston tries to clinch but Clack is having none of it.
Charleston is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clack half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Clack postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Clack creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Charleston sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Clack throws a strike aimed at the side of Charleston's head but Charleston avoids it well.
Clack lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Clack is trying to get an arm triangle but Charleston is defending well.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Charleston is trying to buck Clack off.
Charleston takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Clack throws a front kick aimed at Charleston's knee but Charleston avoids it well.
Charleston's coach down at Barbell Brigade was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Charleston's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Charleston on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Clack. Clack obviously looking to wear him down.
Clack misses with a looping right.
Charleston takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Charleston misses with a series of wild punches.
Charleston gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Charleston tries to clinch but Clack moves out of range.

Clack changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Charleston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clack paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clack connects with a looping right hand.


It looks like James Charleston has been cut.
Charleston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Clack attempts a counter takedown but Charleston avoids it well and moves away.
Charleston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Clack manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Charleston fails in his attempt to clinch.
James Charleston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Charleston tries to clinch there but Clack circles away.
Charleston is looking to clinch but Clack is avoiding it.
Clack is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Charleston can do to turn this around?

Clack shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Charleston is trying to defend but Clack finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Charleston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clack. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Clack is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Charleston defends it well.

Clack is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Charleston is hurt! He's hurt bad - Clack fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Charleston from any more punishment! Congratulations to Clack! Great finish!
