Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donaldson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rouge.
As Rouge looks to move away, Donaldson throws a big counter combo but Rouge just gets out of the way.
Rouge fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rouge closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Donaldson quickly recovers to half guard.
Donaldson pushes Rouge off but Rouge dives into side control.
A lull in the action here as Rouge stalls from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donaldson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Rouge drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rouge sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Rouge wants to stand but Donaldson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Donaldson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rouge defends it easily.

Rouge is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rouge slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The referee asks Rouge politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rouge prefers to stall for the moment though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rouge is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Donaldson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Donaldson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rouge with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Rouge's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Rouge passes to full mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Donaldson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Moulan Rouge dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Donaldson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rouge wants to counter the offense by Donaldson and move into the clinch position.
Rouge throws the kick towards the body but Donaldson avoids it.
Donaldson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rouge throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Donaldson was covering up waiting for the punch and Rouge finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rouge goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Donaldson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rouge's guard! Nice work there by Donaldson!
Donaldson gets to his feet. Rouge looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Donaldson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Moulan Rouge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donaldson scores with a kick to the body.
Rouge instigates a clinch.
Rouge stops a takedown attempt from Donaldson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rouge gets control of Donaldson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rouge will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Rouge looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Donaldson is defending well. Rouge quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Donaldson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Rouge celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
