Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Racine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Joyner was covering up waiting for the punch and Racine finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Joyner has his feet on Racine's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Joyner misses with an attempted mid kick.
Joyner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Racine tries to avoid it but Joyner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Racine to the ground. Racine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Racine is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Joyner's half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Racine works his foot free and advances to mount.
Racine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joyner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Racine has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Joyner's face.

Racine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Racine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Joyner's guard.

Racine has Joyner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Racine pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Joyner tumbling to the mat - Racine dives into Joyner's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Mathew Joyner will probably get the nod.

Racine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Racine wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Joyner seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Racine is tapping! Wow, great finish!
