The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez misses the shot to the body.
Morgan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Andrew Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alvarez seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Morgan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Morgan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Alvarez doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Alvarez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morgan cracks Alvarez's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Alvarez slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Morgan can do further damage! This one is done, son!
