Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Breed. Patrick Bateman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kennedy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kennedy tries a body shot but Bateman blocks it.
Bateman can't find room to land a body shot as Kennedy controls the action.
Kennedy gets control of Bateman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kennedy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bateman trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kennedy 's guard.
Kennedy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bateman has picked Kennedy up and slammed him! Kennedy can't keep hold of the triangle and Bateman manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bateman wants to stand but Kennedy is controlling his arm.
Bateman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Kennedy gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kennedy tries to get to full guard but Bateman has control of the leg.

Kennedy is breathing heavily.
Bateman wants to stand up but Kennedy has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kennedy is looking for a sweep. Bateman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bateman wants to stand but Kennedy has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Patrick Bateman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bateman lands a jab to Kennedy 's midsection.
Kennedy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bateman lands a nice shot to the body.
Bateman lands with a hook. Kennedy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bateman cracks a nice hook into Kennedy 's ribs.
Bateman sends Kennedy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bateman is motioning to the referee to let Kennedy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kennedy is rocked!
Bateman lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kennedy - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Bateman!
