The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee throws a body kick that misses.
Richards throws a counter combo.
Richards blocks a head kick by Lee.
A left and a right from Lee both land. Nice combination.
Lee scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Richards avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee throws a series of punches but Richards moves out of range.

Richards closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Richards getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richards working over Lee with some ground and pound. Lee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Richards seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Richards connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.

Richards lands with a punch from half guard.
Richards controlling the action here.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Richards is working away from the top position though.

Richards seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lee is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
