The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shuttlesworth dips to his left and cracks Roussow with an uppercut!
Shuttlesworth swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Roussow is looking to counter the offense by Shuttlesworth and move into the clinch.
Roussow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shuttlesworth.
A telegraphed right hand from Roussow misses the target.
Shuttlesworth misses with a looping right.
Roussow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shuttlesworth moves away.
Roussow connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shuttlesworth. Shuttlesworth circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shuttlesworth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Roussow on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roussow missing with a left hand there. Shuttlesworth was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shuttlesworth misses with a double jab.
Roussow seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Shuttlesworth is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Roussow.

Roussow gets a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Roussow.
Nice body punch from Roussow - that landed with a thud.
Roussow lands a hook that snaps the head of Shuttlesworth backwards.

Shuttlesworth is rocked!
Roussow misses with a short punch on the inside.
Shuttlesworth is still on wobbly legs! Can Roussow finish him?
Roussow lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Roussow has hold of one of Shuttlesworth's legs. Shuttlesworth is fighting the takedown attempt but Roussow gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shuttlesworth told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Roussow missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roussow gets to his feet and stands over Shuttlesworth, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Shuttlesworth felt that one! Roussow unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Shuttlesworth from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Roussow!
