Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renny Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renny Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jordan Herring!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Herring.
Martin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Herring looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A slow jab from Martin misses its intended target.
A big left from Martin misses.
Herring thows a leg kick but Martin checks it
and Martin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Herring's shoulder, as Herring tries to avoid the shot.
Herring throws a right hand that misses
and Martin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Herring misses with a body kick.
Martin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Herring has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Herring pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Martin looks to land a combination but Herring avoids it well.
Herring slips under a jab.
Herring tries to counter with a clinch but Martin shakes him off and moves away.

Martin closes the distance and clinches.
Nice body punch from Martin.

Martin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Herring swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Martin counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Jordan Herring has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martin lands with a straight right. Herring didn't see that one coming.
Martin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Herring has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Martin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Martin is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Herring shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Herring.
Herring takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Martin missing with a left hand there. Herring was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sloppy strikes from Herring. Those never looked like landing.
Herring takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Herring looks winded!
Herring misses with a head kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Martin. That's going to slow Herring down.
Martin throws a jab when Herring was well out of range.

Herring chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Martin can pounce on him.
Herring on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Herring tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Martin looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Martin backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Herring's temple! It sends Herring violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Martin celebrates and the doctors try to help Herring!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Renny Martin!
A relieved looking Renny Martin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
