The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
In Black misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Growler throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Growler lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Growler cracks In Black with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can In Black get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. In Black looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
It looks like Man In Black has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
In Black tries to clinch but Growler moves out of range.
In Black shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
In Black stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Growler.
In Black drops his hands momentarily and Growler needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips In Black just on the top of the head. In Black drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in In Black - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Greg Growler!
